Internet Explorer Script Error?

I had tried to download a crack for some software which was not a crack but either a spyware or adware or both. After that my homepage was changed.some online games links were installed on my desktop and on my favourites list. Also after every few minutes, an internet script error is detected, and I am asked ,do I still want that script running which r specifically 2 files but the endings vary. These files were in the Temp folder of my Local settings.I deleted the files but it stil shows. I have Ad-aware installed with Spy doctor and Norton 2005.I scanned and quarantined items, even installed internet explorer 7 but the problem still shows.I have restarted my computer but to no avail.Windows XP with SP2.Even after I set my homepage as google again %26amp; again, it would revert back to the homepage chosen by that "crack" and the desktop items i deleted which were set up by that software appear again and again inregular intervals out of nowhere. No extra programs show in start menu or add/remove

If you think that you might have Spy ware on your computer, then it is worth running some free Spy ware on your machine to find out what is going on and what is out there watching you.

One good piece of software that you can run for free is called AdAware - simply search on the Internet and download it for free.

Then run it and it will show you what is going on with your machine, what nasty processes are lurking and watching your data, and will help you to remove.

Remember you should always ensure that you virus checker is up to date and that you have a firewall in place on your machine.

Wow I was just about to type in this same question. I have the same problem, but without the home page and desktop icon issues. I just get the same IE Script Error over and over again when I am web browsing. SO annoying! I was really hoping someone had answered you. Oh well... let me know if you find an answer.
